Aurora

You name it, Aurora has it

With more than 154 square miles and hundreds of subdivisions, Aurora makes up a sizable portion of the Denver metropolitan area. As many people chose to leave Denver for a suburban setting in the late 1970s and early 1980s, Aurora experienced explosive growth. Due to its immense size, Aurora offers a wide variety of housing options, including numerous new construction neighborhoods. You name it, Aurora has it—apartments, townhomes, single-family homes, patio homes, etc. Light rail transit now runs through the center of Aurora thanks to the RTD's R Line. The Nine Mile Station track is connected by 10.5 miles of light rail to Peoria Station, where there is a link to the A-Line that runs to the airport and Union Station in the heart of Denver. The Denver Tech Center, Lone Tree, and downtown Denver are now easier to reach than ever thanks to the R Line's connection to the H Line.
